Recent successes include state and federal historic designation of the North Wildwood motel Chateau Bleu as an historic building and the agreement by the state to consider the entire Wildwood Crest motel district as a historic area. The League has nationwide membership as a result of articles in Smithsonian Magazine, Preservation Magazine, and various other publications. The work is good for the resort.
